Classrooms For Africa's Classroom Tours gives our supporters the opportunity to see firsthand the significant impact of the projects they've funded, while experiencing the beauty, adventure, and culture that is found in Uganda.
Gratitude is a tricky thing. We don't just want to thank you for the impact you've made– we want to show you.
As a partner of Classrooms for Africa, you are directly improving the lives of children across Uganda. On this trip, you will get to see that impact firsthand. You will get to visit the school you have helped build, and will receive a warm welcome and a personal tour.
We are offering 2 trips this year. One is a private partner tour and a second tour is for ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International) teachers in Canada.
We are still setting the exact dates and more information will follow. Currently the tentatively time frames are:
Partner Tour: April 14-May 30, 2017
Teacher Tour: July 14- August 14, 2017
Costs will be determined in early fall. Approximately 65-75% of the trip may be eligible for a tax receipt, details to follow.
We are also still determining the exact itineraries and those itineraries posted are reflective of the type of trip we may take but they may also change depending on whom is coming and the opportunities during the time of year.
What's a visit to Africa without a little adventure?
Encounter majestic African wildlife during a game drive safari, trek through the tropical scenery on a nature walk, track chimpanzees in Queen Elizabeth National Park or take a boat down the Nile River. Our Partner Tours provides the opportunity to experience all the excitement Sub-Sahara Africa has to offer!
We will visit projects that you have all been part of championing and continuing to be part of partnering with schools that are helping some of the most vulnerable. You will experience how the "Power of One Classroom" can make a huge difference!
Sightsee and shop in the bustling capital city, Kampala. Wander the rural communities where some of our more remote projects are situated. Meet and dine with our locals partners as they share their stories. Our Classroom Tours provide a full engagement with the rich, dynamic culture of Uganda.
